MOBILE BUSINESS TRAINING FOR SMALL BUSINESSES.

We are pioneering the provision of community-based training systems delivered in local context where enrolment is a prerequisite for raising or receiving loans . Training fee will be very cheap as low as $2 (N1,000). Training fee can also be loaned and it’s a one-off payment that guarantees access to raise future loans.

SIMPLE-FRAMED SERVICE SYSTEMS

We will always ensure that donations and loan repayment systems are made simple & easy. We are recruiting a design team called "Easy D" to initiate & build our own simple-framed funding systems (both online, offline and communal). Currently, we are working with Cloudware Systems to ensure donations can be done via USSD short codes integrated to donor's commercial banks(e.g #123#.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

We eliminate high operational cost and increase loan repayment efficiency by making our field partners work as business partners as they earn a fixed stipend and share 20% of all training fees. Also, donors receive 50% royalty on all training fee.

Suggest Beneficiary

Do you have a local community close to your heart, have you stayed in a local community before, is there anyone out there you want the ELP team to reach. Please let us know.

Our Process

Review - With information received from the beneficiary, the elp team will determine the loan required to improve or start the business. Loan request will not be more than N20,000 ($42). Each loan unit is N500 ($1.04). Therefore, each loan request can only have a maximum of 40 units.

Training - Beneficiaries receive training based on need. Our trained local field agents who receives 50 percent of training fees take charge of these management processes

Public Subscription - Loan subscribers are invited from the public interested in a community or specific beneficiary. Subscribers will pay through a simple-framed online payment system or through mobile money agents. We have initiated the partnership process.

Disbursement - Monies will be will be disbursed through field officers and mobile money agents since most of our beneficiaries don’t have an official bank account. We will set up mobile money accounts for all of our beneficiaries. With a simple code, they can receive money. They can also receive business tools and equipment with these codes and in many cases; we will transport such tools to them.

Social Collateral - Since most beneficiaries might not have access to material collateral, we will only disburse to individual beneficiary if she or he can form a makeshift group called My Society which consists of 3 to 5 potential beneficiaries who can stand for each other.
